I am so incredibly excited to share ‘Permission To Kiss’ with you all on Soundcloud! It is a song that Steve and I wrote in some sessions a while ago, which we have been adding to my live set. Your feedback from hearing it as part of my shows has been so amazing, and with many of you requesting a recording of it, I thought I’d send it your way! 😀
It’s so fantastic to share new songs with you all at my live shows. I love hearing your thoughts and what your favourites are. I am so fortunate to work with such brilliant musicians who have the ability to translate our demos and studio recordings into something unique and extra-special for the live set! Trying out new material live also helps my team and I to make the best decisions when it comes to choosing songs for my album – which, I hasten to add IS happening – It’s just really important to me that everything about it is perfect. As I’m sure you have gathered, from getting to know me, I am not one to do things half-heartedly – the last thing I would want is to release an album that is unfinished and has been thrown together in a hurry, just for the sake of putting it out! I promise that when I DO release my debut album, it will have been worth waiting for! 🙂 In the meantime, thank you all for your patience and support and for sticking with me on this journey.
I’ll be performing some brand new songs at my next show on Thursday 31st March in London. Please do come along if you can ‘Rah Rah Room’ is where I hosted my Christmas album launch last year and I am so excited to be back there!
I hope you enjoy your weekends and that ‘Permission To Kiss’ adds a little sunshine and glitter to them!
Love Harriet Xx

Great hearing from you and knowing that you are working on your debut album! Love “Permission To Kiss” and will be playing it a lot! Great song! <3
Instantly infectious Harriet! Love, love, love. Look forward to giving it some airplay and a review. 🙂
Beautiful, just love this, why don’t they play music like this on the radio. Please come and play in Kent, would love to see you live.
What a sweet song. Kind of an early 70’s pop beat to it. Unfortunately, I was there and remember. 😉
Also really liked Lonely Boy, which I’ve seen/heard on YouTube.
But don’t stop with those ballads that show off your lower register.
